Hey there!
It’s been a while, I know. The never-ending project continues, but I am making progress. I really hope to have the house on the market by June, which is way later than I had planned, but it’s happening…slowly.
I just can’t wait to be moving onto the next part of my life. I crave some steady footing, even if it’s just long enough to get myself up-right again. Trying to make plans for my future feels so complicated. Where do I want to go? I can go anywhere. I’m still thinking about Texas, but a lot of other places as well. Part of me wants to live in the middle of nowhere, with my chickens, dog, and two cats. The other part knows there is no internet in those places and I need the internet for everything I want to do work-wise. Why aren’t I independently wealthy so that I can disappear out into the wilderness and then reappear a couple of times a year to publish a book and maybe hit up a Halloween party? -Sigh-
Notes on Abney Kelly. The editing process continues to progress. I have a meeting set for next Wednesday, we’ll see where we go from there. Everything takes time. Learning to be patient is one of the hardest lessons I am ever going to have to learn.
Other exciting news! I was named remote employee of the year at Miramont. I never thought I’d win in a million years. It was a crazy wonderful surprise. Pictured below is my boss, Dr. Bender, holding my award. Also, I have included before and after pictures of how the remodel is going.
